Katie's Picture Show
In the story myfavourite bit was when katie went to the art gaallery.I alsoliked the bit were Katie was talking to madame moitesseir because they were being nice to each other and were having a cup of tea.my other favourite part was when all the pictures came alive.this was my favourite part because it sounded magical and like a fairytale.I also liked it when Katie was jumping in all of the pictures and jumping back out again. The best thing about the story was when she went in the shapes picture because she kept falling down and got her self all sticky. The last bit was when they went home but Katie didn't tell her grandma what she had done and kept it a secret from her!.By Kavita Kaur

The policeman who had small feet!
By Frank Flynn
P.C. Paul the policeman was a very smart, fast and strong man,but the only problem he had was his feet. They were very small feet. The bit i like about this book is that the policeman goes to a cafe and looks through a window and sees peoples shoes, then he got up and scratched his head and nose. he then went to the nearest shoe shop to buy the biggest pair of boots. One day as he was chasing a burglar he tripped over his own boots. He fell in a big puddle of mud on a building site, where he saw a yellow machine which would flatten his feet. Then he found that he couldnt walk, b ut could only waddle like a penguin.
After reading this book, I have learnt that you should be satisfied with what you have. As P.C. Paul did, he travelled the whole wide world to make his feet bigger but he couldnt make them bigger. He was more home sick and his feet in the end did not matter any more.

"Mr. Cool" by Jacqueline Wilson
There are four boys in this story. They all want to be rock stars. Ricky, Micky and Nicky make up their own band but they are not sure if Kevin can join. You see, Ricky, Micky and Nicky are very very cool but Kevin is not cool. But Kevin has a great smile. Ricky, Micky and Nicky don't have a good place to practice. Kevin's nan has got a basement and they can practice there. So, Ricky, Micky and Nicky let Kevin join the band. They all practised hard and Ricky, Micky and Nicky got fantastic at singing and dancing and they all looked super cool. Kevin did not get better at anything and he did not look cool at all. But Kevin was good at making everyone feel confident and he was always smiling. And he thought up the band's name - Mr. Cool. Mr. Rich, a record producer, wanted a tour with Mr. Cool but he didn't want Kevin. Kevin stopped smiling. Then Ricky, Micky and Nicky said they wanted Kevin in the band or none of them would go. The tour was a great success and Kevin was the favourite because he smiled, told jokes and talked to the audience. I liked this book becausethe story tells you that friendship is important and that everyone can be good at something.

WITCH IN TRAINING
As Jessica was running to get her hat she saw the sign and asked the owner of the shop not to close the shop. When she came back Miss Strega, the shop owner, asked her, What can I do for you? well i read the sign foor flying lessens. Will you teach me how to fly, please Miss strega. Miss strega ,said of course i can teach you how to fly; but it is not as easy as you may think.
If you want to find out whether Jessica does learn how to fly, then I suggest that you read the book yourself. You will enjoy every page of this marvellous book.

WITCH IN TRAINING
WITCH IN TRAINING (FLYING LESSONS) BY MAEVE FRIEL
This book is about a girl called Jessica. Jessica is a girl who is a witch, but she doesnt want to learn how to fly. The reason being why she doesnt want to learn is that she thinks that she might fall or have a crash. So that is why she doesnt want to learn how to fly.
One day as Jessica was walking down the pavement her hat flew away. It was a very windy day. The hat was long and pointy, the colour was white and it had a long and floaty veil stuck at the top. It sort of looked like princess's wear. Jessica's party hat flew away, over a babys' buggy, sailed under a boy with roller blades on, galloped along the pavement and finally came to land on a pile of twigs. As Jessica was getting her hat she read the sign BIRCH BOSOM £4.99 FLYING LESSONS EXTRA.
