This book is about a girl called Jessica. Jessica is a girl who is a witch, but she doesnt want to learn how to fly. The reason being why she doesnt want to learn is that she thinks that she might fall or have a crash. So that is why she doesnt want to learn how to fly.

One day as Jessica was walking down the pavement her hat flew away. It was a very windy day. The hat was long and pointy, the colour was white and it had a long and floaty veil stuck at the top. It sort of looked like princess's wear. Jessica's party hat flew away, over a babys' buggy, sailed under a boy with roller blades on, galloped along the pavement and finally came to land on a pile of twigs.
